I used to say about my Uncle Ed, and it pretty much holds true to me; “If he can’t do it, you probably didn’t need it done”.
The ‘short list’ of what I do: Welding, Fabrication, Design/Engineering, Consulting, Small Engines, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Electrical, and yes, Information Technology.
I know how to paint with automotive and industrial coatings, but I don’t like doing it. I really, really don’t like painting. Sadly, I’m pretty good at it. On occasion, I’ll do small-to-medium paint jobs. The worst I can tell you is no, right?
I started my professional career in 1995, with Technology. I started an ISP (dialup back then) and the company, atlasta.net, moved to Seattle (as did I). I stayed full-time in technology for a number of years and then returned to Georgia. I’m still a Director in the day-to-day operations of Atlasta, based in Seattle still, but I also run MUK here in GA.
I started my Welding path in 2005 and haven’t quit. I was taught and mentored by my ‘Uncle’ Ed. He taught me everything he knew, and I was eager to learn how to create with my hands. Ed passed away in early 2015, and I’ll probably never meet a more awesome person in my lifetime.
Anyways, be sure to check out the Gallery. It hasn’t had any new pictures added in a while, and I’ll get around to that one day, but you can at least get a feeling of what I do.
